When did you know that music was what you wanted to do?

Wow, always? I can't really pinpoint a time that I DIDN'T want to do music. I started playing when I was 5, and I wanted to play way before that even. I always had toy guitars, and I always wanted to play. Although, there was a period of time around age 13-14 that I wasn't really thinking about it, but that probably stemmed from the fact that I WAS already playing in a band and such. So, when asked about careers, which I would have envisioned as something different, I was thinking about engineering/car design. Much of my early upbringing and memories are very music-centric, so it was almost inevitable!
