Welcome to the new JakeSkylyr.com! To those of you who haven't been here before, welcome! Feel free to explore the place. To those of you who've been around, let me know what you think of the new facelift, and let me know if you find anything out of whack. Also, I'm gonna have the website up before it's finished so there will likely be things not working just yet, but I'll be getting to them as soon as I can, I promise.

Among the major additions you'll see is the "Real Rock Workshop" link. This is a program I started for my students to work together in a group setting and further their study by incorporating things you can only really learn in such an environment, namely improvising, interaction, and handling real world performing situations.

Also under gear, you'll see some new additions. After 7 years, I actually purchased another guitar, another Ibanez 7 string, and customized it. The guitar has made it's debut here in the layout for the site. I've also added a Carvin 6 string bass to the arsenal, as well as a new Hartke bass amp. You can check this out further in the "Gear" section.
