BIG NEWS!!! I am featured on the Ibanez webpage for their new SR Premium series of basses! A video I filmed with them late last year is now the primary promo video on the Ibanez site. Check out the main page here, and click on the video to see me (or at least my hands) in action:
Did some mild updates to the page. Most importantly, I've added up to date pictures and descriptions of my main gear on the "Gear" page. Lots of cool information surrounding my guitars, amps, and stuff there!
Some more changes are in the works on the "Video" page, the "Pictures" page, and in the blogging area of things. I'll keep you posted as more changes happen.

Much news on the musical front! First off, check out the newest release by Angel Vivaldi "Universal Language". It's a 4 song EP featuring yours truly on bass. We'll be playing many shows this summer to promote this release, and I promise you, you'll want to check 'em out. In the past few months I've been doing a TON of recording/writing sessions with Greg and HardKandy records. There is so much underway with this that I couldn't even begin to detail it here. Let's just say there's going to be lots and LOTS of material out there soon featuring much of my guitar and bass work!
I also officially debuted the expansion of the "Reinvision" name. It is now the all encompassing moniker of my personal creative projects. What I was previously dividing up into nice & neat, yet small little projects, will be wrapped together under Reinvision. So, Reinvision = Me doing lots of different musical things :)
I also created a Reinvision Facebook Page, so check that out. I also will be adding songs that are in the works, under construction, and even rough ideas to my YouTube page. Ultimately that means they'll be getting migrated to my video page here, but they'll be there first. Check 'em both! :)
I'll also be updating and revamping the "downloads" page to accomodate more and newer MP3s for you to download and check out. Most of it will correlate with what I'm adding to YouTube. Some may not, you know, just to keep it interesting!

On Wednesday November 10, 2010 I won the store finals in the Sam Ash "Best In Shred 2010" contest! The first round on October 27th narrowed it down to 4 store finalists, in which I won 3rd place, and the 4 store finalists competed November 10th to choose one store winner to move on to the regionals. I won a solid 1st place in the Springfield, NJ store, with a total of 108 out of 120 points! I also won almost $1,100 worth of gear!
The object of the contest is to create and perform a new lead/solo to one of 6 Steve Vai backing tracks, and the contestants are awarded points based on originality, showmanship, technique and accuracy. The grand prize winner wins about $20,000 worth of equipment and a chance to play onstage with Steve Vai.
The videos are up on YouTube under "BestInShred", and I'll be posting the winning video on my video page, as well as my previous performance video. I'll put it here for all the world to see as well :)
Wish me luck in the regional round which will either be in Philadelphia or NYC (yet to be determined) on December 8, 2010!!
Updated the video section on my site. I've started working on new material, and have been keeping video blogs about it on my YouTube page. So you can check out and subscribe there, or check on it here on the video page. I will admit I'm more likely to be up to date there, but I'll try to keep up here. Regardless, tell me what you think of the new tunes, and the new format/approach!

Played Jemfest on 6/18/10 with Angel Vivaldi in Kissimmee, FL. Despite vehicular issues, played an AWESOME set, and Steve Vai even came and heard us for a few songs! Check out further details of my adventures in my blogs.

Working on a new song. It's a collaboration between Christina and I; she wrote some lyrics for some mutual friends, and it happened to sync up well with parts of my old incomplete tune "Distant Rains". With some moderate reworking, and some new parts added, the current incarnation is officially underway in the form of "Lost In The Storm". Expect a demo version to be up and kicking soon :)

***Ok, blast from the past but it needed to be done. Lack of time has basically led me to the incompletion of the "new" black and white themed layout I was concocting. It's not completely abandoned mind you, I just will need further assistance with it, and I can't stand not having the stuff I want up on my website. So I revert you back to my old working layout that had more stuff.***
